This event is for women who have a diagnosis of osteopenia or osteoporosis and want to reduce the risk of breaking bones, manage pain and stay strong and resilient.

This will be presented in 2 parts on Friday 23rd Jan and Friday 30th January 2026, at 1pm.

  • How to start or continue activity and exercises for bone strength

  • Which are the best exercises for osteopenia and osteoporosis and why they work

  • How to maintain and improve balance and avoid slips, trips and falls

  • What diet and lifestyle essentials will best support you

  • Top tips for navigating the health system to access help

  • Where to turn for extra help: credible resources, valid, reliable NHS endorsed tools to assess your risks and low/no cost support

  • A brief question and answer session to conclude

  • Presented online, this event is recorded. Join live and ask questions or catch up in your own time.

All who register will receive an electronic booklet with key information, relevant illustrations, clear instructions and links to how to access help at low/no cost.

This session is aimed at members of the public. Health and exercise professionals are very welcome to attend and the e booklet will contain relevant journal references.
