A Sports Physio led class for Postnatal Mums. 40 mins high quality, postnatal specific exercises, 20 mins Women's Health discussion, advice, Q and A. Exercises are graded to your level. You'll have direct access to a Sports Physio to support you throughout. 

This class will

  • improve cardiovascular fitness

  • improve your muscle strength and muscle tone, especially through the abdominals, back and pelvic floor

  • assist weight management as part of a healthy lifestyle

  • Address aches and pains

  • keep you on track

  • give you the foundation for high intensity activity such as running, cycling and team sports   

All exercises and information based on the latest evidence from the sports medicine, performance, coaching and scientific community.

40 minutes of high quality, running specific exercises designed for females and 20 minutes of hints, tips and Q and A on:

  • Running gait

  • Stretching - what to stretch, when it's most effective and how to do it well. Pilates based movements for runners

  • Avoiding and managing injuries

  • Pelvic floor control

  • Improving performance and female specific concerns - e.g. which injuries we are most likely to get and why, hormones and performance

  • Q and A - your specific questions answered
